Ok, so it's winter now...

  • Watching: A Very Long Engagement.

…And I still haven't picked up the camera again properly.

Hopefully you will like my latest picture though. I was driving home from work (the longer way, but more scenic way). It had just stopped raining, and the atmosphere for that small amount of time was electric. The sun was going down, casting its final rays over the water.

I called it "In For The Night", because in my imagination the owner of one of those boats had been out all day, maybe fishing, but now the boat is back in place, and in for the night.

Anyway, I hope I get my inspiration back soon; to start taking pictures left right and centre. I was messing around with the camera last night for a bit, taking pictures of a piece of wax-stained paper. It was cool, but I wasn't amazingly enthused by it. I had to push myself a little to bother taking the pictures.

What is this? Photographers block?

I don’t know.

Hope all are well.

Goodbye for now.

Summer time = More life

Reading: The Adversary by J. May

Believe it or not. I'm feeling most creative of late. Although there has been nothing to show for it on deviantArt. You see, the thing it, it's Summertime. And that means that spending hours on the internet is out of the question. Spending time down the beach, spending time with friends, and generally better not sitting in front of a computer all evening (after sitting here all day in work) it too order.

So you'll hear off me when its more like Wintertime. :)

Slow

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 20, 2006, 6:15 AM
Things have been a bit slow on deviantArt for me lately.

Mood: Stumped It's always friday
Reading: Second Variety (short stories by Philip K Dick)

Over a month ago we had a storm, quite a bit of lightening. Anyway, some of it came down my telephone line, fried my splitter and all the USB ports on my computer.

Since then I haven't been able to download any of my pictures onto my home computer, and I can’t afford to get it all fixed at the moment. I have downloaded some onto my computer in the office, but it’s not really appropriate to do DA stuff while at work.

So, I guess what I am saying is sorry for the lack of deviations of late, but when I get everything sorted then I will have a nice build up of new photographs to show you. Until then...

Rainbow

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 20, 2005, 7:26 AM
Mood: It's friday (again)
Reading: Second Variety (short stories by Philip K Dick)
Watching: Ray

I saw a complete rainbow on the way to work this morning. I don't see many of those. It went all the way from one end of the valley to the other. It's at times like that I wish I had a really good wide angle. I didn't. Meh.

Setting the cost

So...one of my prints was featured on 100% QC Approved. Thanks folks!

I'm finding it hard to decide on a good pricing structure for my prints. I don't want to be expensive, but I do need to make a little money of the prints to. Anyone got a price guide or structure that they are happy with? Please please let me know.

Gosh I hate fridays.
